Depositing at Betmex: OXXO and SPEI
Before adding Betmex credit I check verification and payment ownership. My sequence is to select the channel, enter an amount, check the reference and retain a receipt. Making a deposit and activating a bonus are separate choices.
My cashier walkthrough
I select Deposit in the cashier and compare OXXO Pay, SPEI and cards. The entry reference is 100 MXN, but I read the amount displayed for my method before paying. I check whether the bank or retail channel adds a charge.
For OXXO I retain the reference and expiry; for SPEI I copy the complete transaction instructions. I do not reuse old transfer details without checking. For cards I inspect bank authentication and avoid screenshots containing full card details or security codes.
Details to compare
| Method | Minimum MXN | Reference maximum MXN | Receipt |
|---|---|---|---|
| OXXO Pay | 100 | 50,000 | Payment reference |
| SPEI | 100 | 50,000 | Bank reference |
| Visa | 100 | 50,000 | Charge and cashier record |
| Mastercard | 100 | 50,000 | Charge and cashier record |
Pending payment or expired reference
If the bank shows a charge but credit has not changed, I inspect status before retrying. A pending payment is not automatically failed because a screen is slow. I retain the first transaction reference and time.
If a reference expires I generate another only after clarifying whether the first was paid. I do not send money to an account supplied by an alleged agent outside the cashier. My aim is to reconstruct the transaction from precise records, rather than one balance screenshot.
What I compare in the history
When a deposit is missing I compare the bank receipt with cashier history. A card charge alone does not prove that casino credit has been posted. If the reference expired or the amount differs, I retain the details for an enquiry.
For a pending withdrawal I check identity verification, ownership and promotional requirements first. I never send another deposit to “unlock” a withdrawal on instructions from an unknown message. My practical conclusion is that a traceable transaction matters more than a generic speed claim.
Before and after the bank charge
Before paying I confirm the method, MXN currency and amount. For SPEI I do not reuse an old destination without reading new instructions. For OXXO Pay I check reference and expiry. For Visa or Mastercard I expect possible bank authentication and matching ownership. The analysis reference is 100 to 50,000 MXN; the cashier determines the amount accepted for my transaction.
After payment I compare the receipt with cashier history. A charged but pending deposit is not a reason to automatically pay the amount again. I gather date, amount, method and reference. Channel and casino charges may be separate. I also check whether I selected a bonus: promotional deposits can add balance rules, while an ordinary deposit follows a different route. I focus on identifying the accepted transaction and keeping sufficient evidence.
