Betmex odds: MXN calculator
To read decimal odds I multiply the stake by the accepted price, then subtract the stake for net profit. Change amount and odds in the local calculator below: it illustrates the formula without predicting an event.
Implied probability and margin
Implied probability is one divided by decimal odds. Odds of 2.00 imply 50% before considering margin and market pricing. This is not an objective measurement of what will happen.
I compare the same event, period and line at the same time. Adding the implied probabilities of all market outcomes helps expose the included margin. Mixing prices from different moments makes the comparison less useful.
Details to compare
| Example odds | Stake MXN | Return MXN | Profit MXN |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.50 | 100 | 150 | 50 |
| 1.85 | 100 | 185 | 85 |
| 2.20 | 250 | 550 | 300 |
| 3.60 | 100 | 360 | 260 |
How I use the calculator
Enter a positive MXN stake and odds of at least 1.00. A 250 MXN stake at 2.20 has a 550 MXN total return and 300 MXN net profit. A losing bet does not receive that potential return.
The calculator runs in your browser and submits no bets. For a parlay enter the product of compatible odds. It does not automatically add promotions, taxes, cash out or void rules; accepted tickets and terms determine actual settlement.

Prematch, live and settlement
Live odds may change while you enter the stake. I check the final accepted price and ticket status. A market suspended after a goal is not an error to fix by tapping repeatedly: wait for it to reopen.
For postponed events I read the relevant sport rules and ticket settlement. Cash Out, when offered, provides an early exit for a stated amount; it is not available on every event and does not guarantee profit. Keep the ticket identifier if you need a settlement explained.
Comparing two prices on the same basis
For an illustrative 100 MXN bet, odds of 1.80 return 180 MXN on a win and 1.90 returns 190 MXN. The difference is 10 MXN only when event, period and market match. I do not compare an overtime-inclusive selection with a 90-minute one.
Implied probability does not remove margin. Two outcomes at 1.90 imply about 52.63% each, totalling 105.26%. The excess illustrates margin in a hypothetical two-way market, not every Betmex market. I change one calculator variable at a time. At 250 MXN and 2.20, total return is 550 and profit 300 MXN. The stake is already included in total return and must not be added again.
